Karlo was excellent! He helped get us navigate the insurance claim. He was very helpful with determining which materials were going to work best for us with our new roof. The new shingles will increase the energy efficiency of our home, and they are class 4 impact rated and it will save us money on our insurance too. Not only does the new roof look amazing, I feel like a roof has received a significant upgrade from the builders original roof. Thank you Karlo! We were clobbered by the June 2023 hail storm. It smashed the roofs of the main house (cement tiles and 8 skylights), art studio (metal), guest house (shingles), and barn (roll roofing). It was daunting, but a family friend recommended Roof Evolution. We brought them in early so they could assist in working with our insurance company. Storm to final repairs ended up taking 8 months. The biggest delay was 5+ months negotiating with the insurance company (they were overwhelmed by the number of claims from the hail storms and kept changing the adjusters), and agreeing on the repair costs for the tile roof (130 broken tiles + all 8 skylights to replace). Once the insurance company and RoofEvolution agreed, around Thanksgiving, crews were scheduled for January. Roof Evolution employed 3 different crews with expertise in tile, metal, and shingles-roll roofing. The skylights and tile repairs were complicated but the repair quality was excellent. The replacement tiles were a good match as were the skylights. The roof tile repairs took less than 2 weeks. RoofEvolution did not do any interior work, so we hired a separate contractor to caulk around the skylights where there were gaps between the ceiling sheet rock and the new skylights. The metal roof was fully replaced as were the shingles and roll roofing. Again, the replacement quality was excellent and each of those replacements took several days. The RoofEvo staff did a great job working with the insurance company, finding matching materials for our 25yo home despite postCOVID supply disruptions, explaining the costs and billing, and coordinating with the county inspectors. The crews were professional, and quick. Clean up was good. I hope we don't experience another massive hail storm, but I would call Roof Evolution again to repair our home if it happened.
